Stuttering Assessment
Our comprehensive stuttering assessment is designed to evaluate speech fluency and identify the impact of stuttering on communication.
The assessment includes:

A detailed case history and discussion of concerns

Evaluation of speech fluency across various communication settings

Assessment of the emotional and social impact of stuttering

Personalized recommendations for therapy and management
Following the assessment, we provide tailored guidance on treatment options to support effective communication and confidence.
Assessments can be carried out via telehealth (Zoom) Monday - Friday
or in-person in our clinic (Wednesdays and Thursdays only).
The appointment goes for aprox 60mins.

Stuttering Treatment
Our stuttering treatments are suitable for young children, older children, teenagers and adults. As we know, one size does not fill at. We design therapy for the needs of each individual child and family.
The treatments we commonly use are the Lidcombe Program, the Westmead Program, the Camperdown Program, the Oakville Program, along with Demands and Capacities approaches.
We offer services at our clinic by Teleheath. Our experience, and results from the evidence show that Telehealth can be suitable for all ages of people who stutter.
In clinic appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Telehealth
We often get asked if Telehealth is suitable for young children?
The answer is YES! You can have sessions in the comfort of your own home, after school or during work hours, and our research shows the outcome is the same as coming into a clinic.
